When an E-bike Ceases to be an E-bike
Many e-bike manufacturers are consumed with hiding the motor and the battery in the frame but is that a good design?
In our opinion, the answer is ‘no’.
Since the frame is designed to house a specific motor, what do you do when the motor is not manufactured anymore or not supported by the manufacturer?
Since the frame is designed to house a specific battery, what do you do when the battery is not manufactured anymore or not supported by the manufacturer?
You can end up having an e-bike that no longer has a working motor or battery, or the motor and/or battery have technology that is out of date.
The Day 6 difference.
At Day 6 we do things differently.
We make an amazing bicycle frame that has a myriad of benefits for the casual rider, the older rider, the heavier rider, the taller rider, and/or the rider with a bad back or other physical issues.
Our frames are designed for the rider but they are also designed to receive a myriad of motors and batteries that have the latest technology.
If a Day 6 motor ever quits or is no longer supported, virtually any mid-drive motor with the latest technology and power can be installed.
In the same way, our e-bikes can be purchased with a variety of battery sizes. If the battery ever dies or is discontinued, there are a myriad of manufacturers that make batteries that fit our bikes.
At Day 6, your electric bike never goes out of style or out of date.
